Reflection on “How To Find And Do Work That You Love (Ikigai)

Based on the Ikigai Venn Diagram that is shown by Chris Do in his video, which consists of 4 different parts, What I love to do, What I am good at, What pays well, and What the world needs now, it makes me asking myself the question posed by him.

What are my loves?

- Drawing

- Cooking

- Baking

- Flower Tea

- Flower

- Eating

- Chinese Style

What I am good at?

- Drawing

- Cooking

- Illustration

- Water Colouring

- Colouring

What job pays the bills?

- Branding

- Poster Design

- Packaging

- Name Card Design

- Web Design

- Drawing

- Photography

What I think the world needs now?

- Warmth

- Kind

- Better Environment

- Peace

- Less Judgemental

After listing out all the things I have in my mind accordingly, I have found myself to be in a situation where I have the capability or even chance to actually take what I am good at, which is also what I love and enjoy doing, that would also help to pay the bills, and to create something that the world needs now. As mentioned by Chris Do, if I work in that direction, I am surely to be on my work without feeling burnout as I enjoy what I am doing, and the thing that I am doing is also helping the world, while paying me well at the same time.
