1. Based on the presentation and work from Part 1, what aspect of your work do you feel needs improvement?

For my presentation and work from Part 1, there are several things that I can actually improve. First of all, the brain that I have designed in my infographic can be replaced with other things that are more interrelated with the term "Phubber". Whereas on the presentation, as it was a pre-recorded online presentation, the voice of mine in the video was quite soft, which can be easily improved.

2. What are your initial ideas for the outcome of your envisioned information piece*? Some questions to help you:

For the initial ideas for the outcome of my envisioned information piece is to let people know that they have the same feelings and they actually done something similar.

a. What would you say is the ultimate purpose of your envisioned information piece? It might help to think about why you chose your topic in the first place.

To tell that the number of phubbers are raising, but the problem is that most of them do not really realize that they are one of them, and this piece that I would like to create is to tell this problem to that group of people, which ultimately could be everyone.

b. What do you hope to achieve with the piece?

To clearly show that almost everyone is phubbing is brutally true with the piece that I would like to create.

c. How does the data from your research contributes to the design of the piece?

As the data from my research has shown that people will look at their phone whenever and wherever they are, such as when they are working, before heading to bed, eating, and so on, hence with the design of the piece, message can be conveyed indirectly to the public at the end of the day.

d. Please feel free to sketch out your initial ideas on a sketchbook

3. What design processes excite you and why? (e.g. Silk-screening, 3D Modelling/Printing, Printmaking, AR/VR, Coding, Woodcarving, laser cutting, embroidery, Sculpture, Video editing, animation etc... These are just examples if you have others that is not listed here please feel free to put it down and elaborate.)

The design processes that excite me are firstly AR, as I think that AR can be used in so many ways to help me convey my message in an interesting form, which means that people will try it out by themselves since it is really something new for people to try out with their device. Secondly, I would like to include something like a test whereby people will answer for instance A or B, whichever suits them best based on their current situation (phubbing or not). This test will be carried out with something like using Hand Sanitizer A if it is true to you. For the Hand Sanitizer, the bottle that it will be used may be created by using woodcarving.

4. What don’t you know but need to for your project?

The application of AR in my piece.

a. What skills might you need to develop?

Skills of how to actually apply AR in my design, and the fundamentals of creating AR.

b. What other information might you need?

Information like what sources can I refer to when creating AR in order to make my experience in doing AR more enjoyable, for instance, a website that provides a figure that I can used to put into my AR.

c. How might you acquire these skills or requirements?

Probably through workshop that can be conducted soon, and of course Youtube and Google as they provide a lot of useful information that I can learn, even though the learning curve may be quite steep.
